Ahhh my favorite Porsche. You know I really had not intended this blog to become a collection of the stuff I have owned... just getting kind of bored while waiting on the Porsche Project. Anyway, it is a good visual diary of vehicles though... and only a few people see it. Okay, although I still do dream about my old 993. -Let me see if I can find a pic of her somewhere and post. Btw, I dream about the '68.. but that is more of a NIGHTMARE. :)
In the meantime. Here is my 996 Carrera 4. -In my fav color combo. :)
-only one word: FANTASTIC. Great everyday driver. Handles with absolute control no matter what the condition. And because it is a tip, it can be driven anywhere. Def one of Porsche's finest hours. You still need to be able to drive, with minimal corrective electronics. -IOW: you can FEEL the road.
Oh, I dabbled with changing the rims at one point, but was quickly talked to my senses by my dear friend Nick who said: "Those look stupid. Put the original ones back on." He was right, so I did.
Ahhh that beautiful rear end of a 911.
