Hey, it's been a minute. How about ANOTHER SAAB story... :) Ok. So this is my 1989 SAAB SPG. Originally in Taledega Red. But I really was not crazy about that RED and the paint was blown out. SPG which I believe stands for "speed package". Anyway, it came to me...after seeing an ad on SAABNET. I pinged the guy for about 9 months. Until finally I got him down to a crazy low price. Let's just say that he wanted it "GONE". - Then I had my "gotcha" moment. Had it flat-bedded over to Frank's garage and we got to work. Drained the gas tank and cleaned it out. Cleaned all the fuel lines. Replaced the blown out rubber vacuum hoses and coolant hoses, new plugs, oil and tuned her up. Turbo was VERY strong. Then new Bilsteins and new rubber. I wanted this one to be a true daily driver.

Drove her over to a place in Wolcott CT to have her stripped down, replace rear floorboards and continue my quest to find the perfect GREY... And here she is! Changed out the wheels for 9000 wheels :)

Had her all the way until COVID. Sold her to a guy in Brooklyn who would finally realize his DREAM CAR :) Drive Happy!

HELLO AGAIN faithful reader. :) Ok, as i am still playing catch up...

Introducing the absolute work horse of our family. The one who got us EVERYWHERE everyday. From Nantucket trips, to every single lacrosse club practice and games.. This was the unsung hero of our family: our 2008 Range Rover L322.

Thank you for your service. :)

 WELL, it's been a while....

Hang on... lemme check my watch. It seems like time just has a way of marching on. I have not been here for quite some time. Now, I guess I could go on and on about how my then little boys are young men now. How insanely proud of both of them I am. That they completely made the very center of my being feel amazingly complete. Did not think it possible for me to love them more and more with each passing year. But each year, it seems the tank has grown. I love you Leo and love you Finn. And if someday you fall on this year or years in the future: thank you. Thank you both for making
my life.

Or, the fact that we have moved from the east coast to the west coast BACK to the east coast... That in our home state we have moved three times and done a massive renovation ... etcetc.

BUT, I DIGRESS and here we are. -And it sure is nice to be here, oh faithful and dear reader. Yes, you! Love you! :)

So, let's start here. "Black Jack": The 2009 Porsche 9114S, (997.2) seven speed, cab. Man, whatta car! I was so very split about this car. First: it was mind numbingly fast. And would react to your every movement faster than any car I have owned from to since. The only problem was it delivered all this massively brutal strength and reflexes completely devoid of any kind of passion. It was in a word: a clinical transaction. I just did not feel this car has a soul. Our if it did it was a robot. A GERMAN robot.

So our love affair was short lived. Well, actually about six years... Anyway here she is. Burt Reynolds eat your heart out! ;)

Nice to see her again. :)
